Thanks to the inspiration of one of the early route scouts, Brett Davidson, unique cat patches have become a quirky part of the Cohutta Cat route experience. People from all over the world bring cat patches - literally any cat patch, whether it's homemade or bought from the interwebs. If you attempt the route in any way, you have earned the right to choose the patch that best describes you, the ride, or just matches your bikepacking bags. Or if you really like yours, earn it by trying the route! These patches are kept in the loving hands of Mulberry Gap. Just tell them you have a patch donation when you arrive and don't forget to grab one for yourself!
